Join us at the 8th Annual Dive In Festival for Diversity & Inclusion in Insurance. This year, there is an in-person event in Calgary on Sept 27th and online Sept 27-29, 2022. #BraverCultures #DiveIn2022
What is Dive In?
Dive In is the insurance industry’s well-established festival for diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) has been confirmed for its eighth consecutive year. Following the global success of last year’s festival, reaching its largest ever global audience, a record number of countries are expected to host virtual events this year.
Since its launch in 2015, Dive In has continued to grow in both numbers and geography. Last year the festival included a record 145 virtual events across 35 countries, reaching 31,067 people from 103 countries worldwide throughout the three days of the festival. This year attendees will once again be able to participate in virtual events all around the world, breaking down geographical barriers and creating a stronger global dialogue on diversity, equity and inclusion.

The Calgary event features Victoria Maxwell and her live performance: Funny, You Don’t Look Crazy!
Victoria shares her true story in a live performance about her journey of recovery with mental illness from being a Safeway cashier, to wearing a backless hospital gown, to working with job coaches and finding her way back into employment.
It’s a story of mental health struggle and triumph when diversity in the workplace includes supporting mental health issues. Exploring stigmas about mental illness, mental health, and recovery creates the space for critical conversations that help build braver work-cultures. You’ll learn what changes and strategies are needed to create healthy, safe environments for those struggling with mental health in the workplace.
About Victoria: Victoria Maxwell has been recognized by CAMH as 150 most influential Canadians in the area of Mental Health. And guys,…. She is funny and entertaining all while educational.
Simply Benefits' National Sales Director Bonnie Wiebe is proud to be part of the Western Canada Dive In committee and looks forward to seeing you there.
